Jessica Barrett is entering her second year as an assistant professor of athletic training at Springfield College. She also is the director of the post-professional athletic training program. Prior to her current role, she was an instructor and athletic trainer from 2014-18 at the University of Connecticut. She served as the academic coordinator of clinical education at Neumann University from 2008-14. Barrett has published and presented regionally and nationally on subjects related to work-life balance, burnout, mentoring relationships, challenges for junior faculty, and faculty socialization. Additionally, Barrett serves as a site visitor and member of the Review Team for the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education.
