Men's Volleyball Receives NCAA Championship Rings

Springfield, Mass. - January 17, 2014 - The Springfield College men's volleyball team recently received their championship rings in a ceremony held in the home of the President of Springfield College, Dr Mary-Beth Cooper.

Last April, the Pride captured its second-straight NCAA Division III National Championship after it swept host Nazareth College in three sets. For Springfield, it marked their eighth Division III National Championship in men's volleyball.

Springfield will begin its title defense when it opens the 2014 campaign in California, playing a trio of matches on January 17 and 18. The Pride will play its home opener on January 23 at 6:00 pm against Lasell.
