SC fell into an early 2-0 halftime deficit, but for the second straight match, the Pride rallied to force overtime. Springfield freshman midfielder Cara Reilly (Lenoxdale, Mass.) started the scoring with a goal in the 48th minute off an assist from junior forward Jessica Kovacs (Dalton, Mass.).

Smith College sophomore forward Monroe Peterson scored the game-winner in the 104th minute of play.

The Pride finish the regular season at 8-8-2 overall, and 5-3-1 in NEWMAC play. SC will be the No. 3 seed in the NEWMAC Tournament, which starts on Saturday. SC will be matched up against No. 6 Babson College in the first round at Brock-Affleck Field.
