DiPaolo Earns Third NEWMAC Cross Country Runner of the Week Honor

Amanda DiPaolo SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- September 29, 2008 -- Amanda DiPaolo has been selected as the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week after another solid race this weekend at the Purple Valley Classic hosted by Williams College.

DiPaolo continued her outstanding 2008 season as she finished in seventh in a time 23:18.62 at the Purple Valley Classic.

In the 6k race, DiPaolo finished seventh out of 179 runners as she averaged a 6:16 mile. In the race, the Pride as a team finished sixth out of the 18 teams competing.
