Springfield College Celebrates National Girls And Women In Sports Day With A Full Schedule Of Activities

Springfield College is excited to host several events in conjunction with National Girls and Women In Sports Day. Take a look and see what is in store for the coming month.

Monday Feb. 7
Michael Hill resume building workshop for female student-athletes.
12:00 pm-1:00 pm in PE Classroom. Lunch will be provided.
-Please pre-register with Shaun Richard at ext. 3484 by Feb. 5th

Tuesday Feb. 8
History of women’s sports on display in the PE Complex

Wednesday Feb. 9
Dr. Sue Guyer- Eating Disorder Lecture. 7:00 pm Marsh Memorial Chapel
-Open to all student-athletes, coaches, and faculty

Thursday Feb. 10
Round table discussion featuring Dr. Mimi Murray, Dr. Cathie Schweitzer, Annie Franzia, & Jen Meade.
7:00 pm in Moses Hall
-Open to students, coaches, and faculty

Saturday Feb. 12
Girls Sports Clinics –
W. Soccer, Softball, Rock Wall starting at 9:00 am in PE Complex and Judd
Men & Women’s Basketball Games (1:00 & 3:00 pm)
Men’s Swimming & Diving (3:00 pm)
Men’s Volleyball (7:30 pm)

Take a Kid to the Game Day

Thursday Feb. 17
Westfield State College- Play Day for Women's Athletics.
-Bus Departure from PE Complex at 4:15 pm
