Box Score

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- September 22, 2007 -- Maria Evans’ (Gloucester, Mass.) goal with just 1:36 left in regulation lifted the Springfield College women’s soccer team past Clark, 1-0, in both squads New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference opener. With the win, the Pride improves to 7-1, 1-0 in conference play, while the Cougars drop to 3-2-1, 0-1.

With time winding down in the match, Delany Cantrall (Santa Paula, Calif.) sent a long, lofted ball into the box from 40 yards out.
