The Pride, which advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament after winning the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference title, also had a very successful season in the classroom.
Lauren Peltier was named to the NSCAA/adidas Women’s Collegiate Scholar All-America College Division Second Team as well as the NSCAA/adidas College Women Scholar All-East Region First Team. Peltier, who was also honored as the NEWMAC Player of the Year, currently owns a 3.71 grade point average as a senior in the physical therapy program.
Classmate Kayla Thibeault was selected to the NSCAA/adidas College Women Scholar All-East Region Second Team. Thibeault, also enrolled in the physical therapy program, owns a 3.56 grade point average.
Finally, Jessica Prencipe and Shanda Kogut both earned NSCAA/adidas College Women Scholar All-East Region Honorable Mention status. A junior majoring in applied exercise science, Prencipe has a 3.54 grade point average, while Kogut, a senior physical education major, has posted a 3.7 grade point average.
