Diving Places Third In SC Diving Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., January 18, 2004 – Springfield College sophomore diver Lacey Feduke (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) finished second in the women’s one-meter dive (256.75) and the women’s three-meter dive (257.35) as the Pride finished third in the Springfield College Diving Invitational this afternoon at the Linkletter Natatorium.

Fairfield University won the event with a total team score of 108, as diver Peter LoVerme placed first in the men’s one-meter dive (241.30).

Brown University diver Jessica Larson finished first in the women’s one-meter dive (271.70) and first in the three-meter dive (275.25) to lead Brown to a second place finish, with a team score of 97.

Peter LoVerme and Jessica Larson were both honored as Divers of the Meet for this afternoon’s competition.
