Moscardelli and Greenstein Earn ECAC All-New England Honors

and Erin Greenstein
were rewarded for their fine play this season by being selected as 2011 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Women’s Soccer All-Stars. Moscardelli earned first-team honors, while Greenstein was tabbed to the second team.
The Springfield College women's soccer team finished the season ranked 25th in the country in the final NSCAA National Poll.
Moscardelli has raked in the postseason awards this season. In addition to also earning NSCAA First Team All-America honors, she was also selected to NSCAA and NEWISA All-Region team, and was named the NEWMAC Co-Player of the Year. Moscardelli controlled Springfield's play in the midfield all year and finished with seven goals and five assists, ranking second on the team with 19 points.
Greenstein finished 14-3-2 on the season as she was named all-region by the ECAC, NSCAA, and NEWISA. The junior goalkeeper had an outstanding season, allowing just nine goals in 19 games while racking up 54 saves. Her goal against average of .50 ranked 19th-best in the nation.
Head Coach John Gibson
John Gibson, a native of London, England, enters his 14th season as head women's soccer at Springfield College in the fall of 2013. Gibson has led the Pride to the NCAA Tournament in six of the last eight years and has established the Pride as one of the top programs in the country. His clubs have registered an impressive a 165-75-21 record.
