Amherst Tops Men's Soccer, 4-0
, Oct. 1, 2003 – Amherst College freshman forward Michael Wohl (Northampton, Mass.)
scored two goals to push the Lord Jeffs past Springfield College, 4-0, in a non-conference match at Brock-Affleck Field this afternoon.
Wohl scored his first goal in the 29th minute off of a pass from freshman midfielder Phillip Boulay (Norfolk, Mass.)
and then scored again in the 34th minute off of a feed from freshman midfielder Robert Madden (New Haven, Conn.)
Senior back Michael York (Natick, Mass.)
scored the first goal of the match in the first minute after an Amherst shot struck the left post.
Sophomore forward Joe Gannon (Hanson, Mass.)
also added a goal in the 11th minute off a pass from sophomore forward Adrien de Bontin (Kenilworth, Ill.)
SC (2-4-2) is in action on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1:00 p.m. when the Pride visits Clark.
