Kijanka Takes Eighth, Reggio 10th in NCAA Three-Meter Diving

Meghan Kijanka Minneapolis, Minn. - March 20, 2010 - The senior duo of Meghan Kijanka and Michelle Reggio closed out their impressive careers at Springfield on Saturday evening as the duo had solid showings in the three-meter diving competition at the NCAA Division III Women's Swimming and Diving Championships.

Kijanka earned All-American accolades with her top eight finish as she scored 379.90 points to finish eighth. Reggio took home Honorable Mention All-American honors as she dove in the consolation finals and totaled 451.55 points to finish in 10th place. Had she qualified for the championship finals, Reggio total would have been good enough for fifth place in the nation.

A year ago, on the three-meter board Kijanka placed 10th out of 22 divers, while Reggio followed her with an 11th place finish as both earned Honorable Mention All-American honors.
