Nickerson and O'Leary Take Home NEWMAC All-Conference Honors Babson Park, Mass. - April 27, 2010 - The Springfield College men's tennis team had a pair of student athletes recently named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-Conference Team. Doug Nickerson was named to the NEWMAC All-Conference Second Team at No. 6 singles, while Nickerson joined teammate Zach O'Leary on the all-conference second team for No. 3 doubles.

Nickerson, a junior, played #6 singles for the Pride, finishing with a 3-1 NEWMAC-only record at that position. He also finished with an 0-1 record at #5 singles in NEWMAC-only play.

As for the duo of Nickerson and O'Leary, they went 3-2 in NEWMAC-only play to earn the all-conference honor.
