Woods To Begin Three-Year Term On NCAA Division III SAAC Committee

Greg Woods Boston, Mass. - January 15, 2014 - At this week's NCAA Convention, Greg Woods (Middletown, Conn.), a member of the men's volleyball team at Springfield College, will begin his term as the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) representative on the NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Woods will serve a three-year term and will also represent the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), on the committee.

The sophomore outside hitter helped the Pride win its second-straight NCAA Division III National Championship last season and is currently majoring in Business Administration.

The NCAA Division III SAAC strives to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity for all student-athletes; protecting student- athlete well-being; and fostering a positive student-athlete image, while maintaining the tenants of the Division III philosophy.
