Greenstein Named NEWMAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week Babson Park, Mass. - October 17, 2011 - After posting a pair of shutouts last week, junior goalkeeper Erin Greenstein was selected as the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

Greenstein played a part in two shutouts last week for Springfield as it improved to 9-3-1, including 5-0-1 in league play. On Tuesday, Greenstein played just over 71 minutes and made a pair of saves as Springfield shut out UMass Dartmouth, 5-0. In Saturday's 1-0 win at 17th-ranked Wheaton, Greenstein was credited with five stops in the Pride's 1-0 victory.
