2013 Field Hockey All-Conference Boston, Mass. - November 12, 2013 - Three members of the Springfield College field hockey team were named to the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-Conference teams. Both Kelly Gallo (Westfield, Mass.) and MK Murray (Killingworth, Conn.) received first team All-Conference honors, while Olivia Cabral (Sayville, N.Y.) has been selected to the second team.

For Gallo, this is her fourth consecutive selection to the all-conference first team. She was once again a key figure for the team offensively, finishing second in goals scored this season with nine and also tacking on an assist.

Murray has received her second all-conference team selection in as many years, with this being her first selection to the first team. The senior was at the heart of the Springfield College defense throughout the year, starting in 18 games for the Pride. She was also a tremendous weapon on offense, contributing seven goals and seven assists during the year.

In her first season with the Pride, Cabral earned second team honors after transferring from the University of Louisville. She finished the season ranked second on the team with 22 points after compiling seven goals and eight helpers.
