Men's Swimming & Diving Falls At Southern Conn., 132-87

NEW HAVEN, Conn., Nov. 4, 2002 – Springfield College freshman Mike Shaw (Westfield, Mass.) placed first on both the 3-meter and the 1-meter board, and freshman teammate Dan Moran (Wilbraham, Mass.) won the 1,000-yard freestyle but Southern Connecticut defeated the Pride, 132 –87, this afternoon.

Shaw captured first place on the 1-meter board with 234.50 points and won the 3-meter board with 231.70 points. Moran was victorious in the 1,000-yard free style with a time of 10:05.29.

SC (1-1) travels to MIT this Saturday to take on the Engineers at 1 p.m.
