Men's Soccer, WNEC Battle To Scoreless Draw

Springfield, Mass., Sept. 25, 2003 - Springfield College junior goalkeeper Tom Bowden (Havertown, Pa.) extended his shutout streak to 205 minutes as the Pride battled Western New England College to a scoreless tie in a non-conference match this afternoon at Brock-Affleck Field.

Bowden, who shutout MCLA on Tuesday in a 1-0 overtime win, made four saves against the Golden Bears this afternoon.

Freshman goalkeeper Kevin Koch (Chester, N.Y.) was outstanding in net as he tallied six saves for WNEC (1-4-2).

SC (2-3-1) is back in action on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Coast Guard.
