Brigham Paces Women's Cross Country

BOSTON, Sept 25, 2004 – Freshman Alyssa Brigham (Penacook, N.H.) was the first Springfield College runner to finish the five-kilometer course at the M.I.T. Harrier Classic this past Saturday at Franklin Park. Brigham placed 35th in a field of 161 runners (20:40) to lead the Pride to eight place.

Brigham was followed by junior Jessie Zaccaro (Washingtonville, N.Y.) (38th/20:47) and Samantha Noonan (Springfield, Mass.) (51st/21:04). Sophomore Jackie Knoblock (Plymouth, Mass.) finished fourth for the Pride (54th/21:10) and junior Sara Tyman (West Suffield, Conn.) was fifth on the team, finishing in 21:31.
