Maltz Leads Women's Tennis to 5-4 Victory at Salve Regina

Kristi Maltz Newport, R.I. -- April 3, 2011 -- Kristi Maltz won a marathon match at No. 5 singles to lead the Springfield College women's tennis team to a 5-4 victory over Salve Regina Sunday. Maltz saved two match points and ultimately produced the clinching match win.

With the win, Springfield is now 5-8 over the course of its fall and spring seasons. Salve Regina is now 10-5 overall.
