DiNatale Named ECAC Division III New England Women's Soccer All-Star

Vicky DiNatale ECAC New England All-Star Centerville, Mass. - December 16, 2013 - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its regional all-star teams on Monday and Springfield College's Vicky DiNatale (Weymouth, Mass.) was among those honored. The senior was named a 2013 ECAC Division III New England Women's Soccer First Team All-Star.

The senior earned a handful of postseason accolades this year, including being named to the 2013 NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Women's Soccer Division III All-America Third Team. It was the second-straight All-America honor for DiNatale, who was a Second-Team All-American last season. It also marks the first time since 1992 that a Springfield College women's soccer player earned repeat All-American selections and the fourth-straight year that a member of the Pride was named to an All-America team.

DiNatale has helped lead Springfield College to four-consecutive trips to the NCAA Division III Championship. In her time at Springfield College, the Pride has owned a 56-19-8 record for a .723 winning percentage. This year the Pride finished 13-5-4 en route to its second-straight conference crown.

Earlier this season, DiNatale was named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-Conference First Team as she started all 22 games on defense. She anchored the Pride's defense that gave up just 17 goals the entire season.

DiNatale was also named First Team All-Region for the second-consecutive season by the NSCAA and was selected to play in the 2013 New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl.

The Division III New England Women’s Soccer All-Star teams are selected from a possible 76 institutions from nine conferences, and the voting is completed by the head coaches within the Division III New England Women’s Soccer membership. DiNatale was among four players from the NEWMAC to earn first team honors.
