Slattery Earns NEWMAC All-Conference Second Team Honors Wellesley, Mass. - February 28, 2012 - Senior Kelly Slattery was selected to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Basketball All-Conference Second Team on Wednesday after a standout final season for Springfield College.

The Somers, Conn. product led Springfield in scoring this season with 329 points, averaging 12.7 per game. She ranked second on the team in rebounding with 5.2 caroms per contest, and also recorded 31 steals, 23 assists, and 20 blocks.

Last season, Slattery earned NEWMAC All-Conference First Team honors. After transferring to Springfield in her sophomore season, Slattery totaled 912 points and 422 rebounds in three seasons on Alden Street.
