Golf Places 11th of 12 at the WNEC Invitational

Jared Slingerland Springfield, Mass. -- April 15, 2010 -- Sophomore Jared Slingerland (Berwick, Me.) shot an 83 to top his Springfield College men's golf team today individually at the Western New England College Invitational at the par-72 Veterans Golf Course. As a team, the Pride finished 11th of 12 with a score of 341.

Joe Eadie Joe Eadie enters his 20th season as the head men's golf coach at Springfield College in the fall of 2012. Eadie is the head golf professional at the Fenway Golf Range in nearby East Longmeadow, and is in the process of becoming a PGA Professional.
