Springfield handled the Knights in the first set, winning 25-18, but found itself in a battle with the Knights after the initial go-round. The Pride generated a three-point victory in the second set, but Clarkson took the third by six points. Though Springfield won the fourth set, 25-23, Clarkson led by three points before the Pride finished things off by taking six of the final seven points. The set was tied 23-23 before a service error gave Springfield a point and the ability to serve for the match, which the team did not hesitate to complete.
Pacing the Pride in the victory was once again the duo of Tessa Smolinski and Lauren Torvi. Smolinski pounded out 16 kills and added seven digs, while Torvi chipped in with 11 kills and nine blocks. Itza Nieves registered 20 digs on defense, and Mary Consol added six blocks.
