Coordinator of Undergraduate and Graduate Research
Springfield College seeks applications for a Coordinator of Undergraduate and Graduate Research within the Office of Academic Affairs. The Coordinator position is a full-time, 12-month, administrative position reporting to the Assistant Vice-President for Academic Affairs. The Coordinator will provide direct administrative support to the Institutional Review Board and manage all communication concerning applications to conduct research with human subjects. The Coordinator will also serve as the final editor for all master’s theses and doctoral dissertations and will assist graduate students as they complete final edits and the publication process. Additionally, the Coordinator will provide administrative support for the College’s annual celebration of undergraduate research and support other undergraduate and graduate research activities on campus. The College is specifically seeking a candidate with experience working with faculty and graduate students, as well as, knowledge regarding the protection of human subjects.
A master’s degree in a relevant field of study is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a higher education setting and a commitment to equity, diversity, and student success.
