Bogdanov’s area of expertise resides in sport and national identity–the aspects of the phenomenon that drive the mega-sporting events in the world. Both his masters and PhD were based in the cognitive playground of identity, leading to travel around the world to inquire about his research with stops in Portugal, Germany, Ireland, Serbia, and the Philippines. Dusko also has a strong interest in sport entrepreneurship, launching his own clothing soccer brand, vintageKeeper, which is still a huge passion today. Bogdanov’s other area of specialization is people–to develop and maintain meaningful relationships with friends, colleagues, and students.
